How the Grief Stole Christmas
A Workshop for Families Experiencing Loss
If your family has recently experienced the loss of a loved one, the approaching holidays may be a difficult time. How do we celebrate when we feel so sad? How do we continue our family traditions without this person? These concerns can create stress and add to the burden of your grief.
This workshop for families with young children will explore these issues and provide strategies for managing grief and the holidays. Families meet together to begin, then children and adults attend separate breakout sessions, then all come together to wrap up. Groups are facilitated by PPHPC Grief Counselors and Volunteers. Dinner will be provided.
