Proverbs 22:1 “A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.” Ben Waddle…he had a “good name” and was “esteemed” by those who knew him. We, who are left behind, are proud of who he was and desire to continue his good name. Ben exuded integrity, competence, knowledge, humor, and generosity, at home and in the banking industry. He loved his Lord, family, and country. He loved people. He had a keen sense of how to handle situations. He enjoyed his grandkids and teased them a lot in a fun way which produced a legacy of humor throughout our generations. He beat many physical difficulties through the years, including five surgeries and colon cancer, but lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. We loved Ben, and we miss him terribly, but we will see him in heaven one day!
