Nancy Fischer was a long-time and much loved resident of Colorado Springs. Along with Tom, her husband of 53 years, Nancy was an active volunteer throughout her life. She was a contributing member of the Junior League, served on the Board of Directors of Memorial Hospital, and participated in local Republican Party politics. Nancy was an involved member of her Church throughout her 50 years spent in Colorado Springs. She had numerous passions in life beyond raising and caring for her family including creating a "home away from home" for Air Force Cadets, genealogy, bridge, and her dogs. As the family archivist, she kept alive the memory of generations past. As an avid bridge player, she was much in demand as a partner and extended her opportunities to play by participating in bridge on line. She helped create and has sustained the community that is her neighborhood. In these endeavors she extended her large circle of caring friends. Loving wife, caring mother, and loyal friend, Nancy is missed by her family and her many friends.
