Carnival fun supports an important cause
Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care Helps The Palisades at Broadmoor Park Raise Funds for the Alzheimer's Association
Residents, families, team members, and community partners gathered recently for a day of fun, connection, and giving at The Palisades at Broadmoor Park's 1st Annual Carnival benefiting the Alzheimer's Association.
Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care was proud to support the event as a sponsor, helping create memorable experiences for attendees through face painting, carnival games, and snow cones. Throughout the day, residents and their families enjoyed classic carnival activities, shared laughter, and created lasting memories together.
While the event was filled with fun and celebration, it was also centered around a meaningful purpose. Through the generosity of participants, sponsors, and supporters, approximately $1,600 was raised for the Alzheimer's Association, helping fund research, education, advocacy, and support services for individuals and families impacted by Alzheimer's disease.
At Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care, we understand the profound impact Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia can have on patients, caregivers, and families. Supporting organizations and events that provide hope, resources, and assistance aligns closely with our mission of compassionate care and community service.
We are grateful to The Palisades at Broadmoor Park for organizing such a successful inaugural event and for inviting us to participate. It was a privilege to spend time with residents and families while supporting a cause that touches so many lives.
Congratulations to everyone involved in making the carnival a success. We look forward to continuing to support our community through partnerships that bring people together and make a meaningful difference.
Together, we can create moments of joy while advancing the important work of caring for those affected by Alzheimer's disease.
