Root beer floats and gratitude: celebrating CNAs at Pikes Peak Post Acute
Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care was honored to celebrate Certified Nursing Assistants during CNA Appreciation Week with a special visit to Pikes Peak Post Acute on June 15.
To recognize the dedication and compassion CNAs bring to their work every day, our team served root beer floats as a small token of appreciation. While the event focused on honoring CNAs, we were pleased to share the treats with other staff members and residents who wanted to join the celebration.
Certified Nursing Assistants play a vital role in healthcare. They are often the caregivers who spend the most time with patients and residents, providing hands-on support, comfort, and companionship. Their kindness, patience, and commitment help create a positive experience for those in their care and offer reassurance to families during challenging times.
At Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care, we value the partnerships we share with skilled nursing and post-acute care communities throughout the region. Events like this provide an opportunity to recognize the healthcare professionals who work tirelessly to ensure patients receive compassionate, high-quality care.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the CNAs at Pikes Peak Post Acute and to all CNAs throughout our community. Your dedication makes a meaningful difference in the lives of countless individuals and families every day.
Thank you for all you do.
