Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care hits the links for a great cause
A perfect blue-sky day, a beautiful course, and an important cause made for a memorable day on the links.
Last Friday, Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care was proud to participate in the Gazette Charities Foundation Empty Stocking Fund Golf Classic at The Broadmoor.
A foursome made up of Pikes Peak Hospice staff and board members represented our organization at the tournament, joining golfers from throughout the community in support of the Empty Stocking Fund.
The annual fundraiser supports 20 health and human services agencies that are on the front lines of serving some of the most vulnerable people in our community — including Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care.
For Pikes Peak Hospice, being part of events like this is about more than a day of golf. It’s an opportunity to come together with other community organizations, supporters, and leaders who share a commitment to making the Pikes Peak region a stronger and more caring place for everyone.
We’re grateful to the Gazette Charities Foundation for bringing the community together to support the important work of local health and human services organizations.
And while we certainly enjoyed the beautiful setting and perfect weather, we were especially grateful to spend the day representing Pikes Peak Hospice and supporting a cause that directly benefits our community.
