Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care joins Colorado Springs Walk to End Alzheimer’s
Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care was proud to participate in the Colorado Springs Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, September 26, at Memorial Park.
The annual event brought thousands of participants together to raise awareness and funds in support of people living with Alzheimer’s disease and their families. For Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care, being part of the Walk was an opportunity to stand alongside our community in support of an important cause.
Being Part of Our Community
Community involvement is an important part of Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care’s mission. As a community-based nonprofit organization, we understand that caring for our community extends beyond the services we provide to patients and families.
It also means showing up.
Events like the Walk to End Alzheimer’s bring people together around shared experiences and a common goal. They provide opportunities to increase awareness, support families and remind those affected by Alzheimer’s that they are not alone.
Our team was honored to join fellow community members, organizations, caregivers, families and advocates at Memorial Park. We are grateful for the opportunity to participate in an event that recognizes the challenges of Alzheimer’s while bringing people together around hope, support and the pursuit of a future without the disease.
Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care is proud to be part of the Colorado Springs community and to continue showing up for the people and causes that matter to our neighbors.
Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, donated and helped make the 2026 Colorado Springs Walk to End Alzheimer’s a meaningful community event.
