Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care celebrates Assisted Living Week at Aberdeen Ridge
Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care was honored to sponsor a special Tea Party hosted by Aberdeen Ridge in celebration of Assisted Living Week.
Our team provided the snacks and helped serve residents as they gathered for an afternoon filled with tea, treats and time together. It was a simple celebration, but one filled with the kind of connection and companionship that can make an ordinary afternoon feel special.
Celebrating Community and Connection
Assisted Living Week provides an opportunity to recognize the important role assisted living communities play in the lives of older adults. It is also a chance to celebrate the residents, families, caregivers and staff who make these communities places where people can live, connect and thrive.
For Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care, participating in events like Aberdeen Ridge's Tea Party is another way we can be an active part of the communities we serve.
Our work is centered on supporting patients and families, but meaningful relationships extend beyond the delivery of care. Spending time with residents, getting to know community staff and participating in celebrations allows us to build connections that are valuable throughout the year.
We are grateful to the team at Aberdeen Ridge for including Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care in this special Assisted Living Week celebration. It was a pleasure to provide the snacks, lend a hand with serving and, most importantly, spend time with the residents.
We are proud to be part of a community where organizations come together to create meaningful moments for older adults and the people who care for them.
